PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal powder for powder metallurgy capable of manufacturing a sintered body with high density, a compound and a granulated powder and a high density sintered body.SOLUTION: The metal powder for powder metallurgy has particles containing Co as a main component, Cr with a percentage of 16 mass% to 35 mass%, Si with a percentage of 0.2 mass% to 2.2 mass%, a first element with a percentage of 0.01 mass% to 0.7 mass% and a second element with a percentage of 0.01 mass% to 0.7 mass% when two kinds of elements selected from a group consisting of Ti, V, Y, Zr, Nb, Hf and Ta are the first element and the second element with the percentage content of Si on a surface of the particles of 5 atom% to 30 atom%, the percentage content of Si at a position of 10 nm depth from a surface of the particles of smaller than the percentage content of Si on the surface of the particles and 10 atom% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
