PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device and image formation apparatus which can supply power necessary for backup processing at the time of power interruption with an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: In a power supply control device 100, an AC/DC converter 200 receives power from an AC power supply 110 to supply power to a drive power supply, and a DC/DC converter 300 receives power from the drive power supply to supply control power to a control unit 125. When an AC input monitor unit 401 notifies the AC/DC converter 200 of power supply interruption of the AC power supply 110, the AC/DC converter 200 supplies power to the drive power supply by using power stored in a primary smoothing capacitor C221, the control unit 125 receiving the notification starts backup of digital data on a volatile memory to a non-volatile memory. At this time, since the power supply time of the control power supply is extended with extension of the power supply time by dropping the voltage of the drive power supply, a sufficient backup period can be secured in the control unit 125.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
