PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of main signal error, even if switching of the SWF unit of active system and reserve system is repeated in a transmission device.SOLUTION: When a transmission device including redundant first SWF unit 201a and second SWF unit 201b, and a LIU202, performs transmission processing of the main signal data, based on a first timing pulse generated in the first SWF unit 201a, if the first timing pulse cannot be received in the LIU202, switching is made to a second timing pulse of the second SWF unit 201b, and transmission processing is performed while absorbing the phase shift of the first and second timing pulses in a FIFO355. At that time, a FIFO monitoring counter 356 detects the phase shift, and in the first SWF unit 201a, i.e., a non-operational unit after switching, the generation timing from the second timing pulse of the operational SWF unit after switching is corrected based on the phase shift.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
