PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable battery having endurance against a flexural stress and flexibility.SOLUTION: An electrochemical device 1 comprises a cathode 2 and an anode 4 which are separated from each other by a separator 6. The electrochemical device further comprises two current collectors 8, which may form a battery cell. The anode 4 and the cathode 2 are each disposed between the separator 6 and the current collector 8. In the battery cell, of the two current collectors 8, one or more collectors are formed from a material which has one or more kinds of metal components and is at least partially amorphous. The battery cell has an uneven structure 93 on a bottom face 91 of at least one current collector 8, which serves to increase a friction force for adhesion improvement. In the battery cell, the two current collectors (8) are totally formed from an amorphous material; preferably the material includes one or more elements selected from Ti, Zr, Ni, Cu, Fe, Cr, Mn, V, W, and Al; and the amorphous material has a resistivity of 10Ωm, preferably 10Ωm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
