PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate power distribution depending on an actual meteorological situation.SOLUTION: A power supply system receives power supply and demand information, power generation forecasting information, and power consumption forecasting information for each region; and forecasts transition of a meteorological situation on the basis of the power supply and demand information (generated power and power consumption) for each region (300 and 302). The power supply system forecasts an actual meteorological situation (solar irradiation, air temperature change, or the like) by monitoring changes in, for example, a power generation amount of a photovoltaic power generation device, setting of an air conditioner, or an operation situation of the air conditioner because they change depending on the meteorological situation. The power supply system then corrects a forecasted power generation amount (power generation forecasting information) and a forecasted power consumption amount (power consumption forecasting information) on the basis of the forecasting result of the meteorological situation, and determines power distribution to each region on the basis of the correction result to control power distribution (304 and 306). |
