<p>The invention relates to a power supply unit which comprises an internal combustion engine (2) which is cooled by a fluid, a power generator (4) coupled to this internal combustion engine (2), a cooling circuit (7) for the cooling fluid, and a cooler (5) for cooling down the fluid, which cooler (5) comprises a radiator (6) installed in the cooling circuit (7) and a fan (8). A control device (16) is coupled to the internal combustion engine (2), which control device controls critical parameters of the internal combustion engine (2), amongst which, at least, the temperature of the cooling fluid. The fan (8) comprises an electric motor (9) with adjustable speed which, for the power supply thereof, is coupled to the outlet of the generator (4) by means of a controlling apparatus (10) which, in function of the signal from the control device (16) and, therefore, at least in function of the temperature of the cooling fluid, regulates the speed of the electric motor (9).</p> |
