<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a developing performance in the case of forming an image on a paper by preventing the use of deteriorated toner. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes; a developing apparatus 10a, equipped with a developing roller 101a which supplies the toner on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 222a exposed by a laser beam scanner unit 227a; a cleaning apparatus for removing the toner remaining on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 222a; and a control part 50 for controlling the overall operation of the image forming apparatus 1. The integration of the exposure amount of the laser beam scanner unit 227a at respective positions in the main scanning direction of image data is carried out by the control part 50, and the difference between the maximum integrated value and other integrated values among the integrated values of the exposure amount is detected. Furthermore, adjusting image data are formed by the control part 50 at a prescribed timing so that the image is formed in the position in the main scanning direction of the integrated value, having a difference equal to or exceeding a prescribed amount from the maximum integrated value among the other detected integrated values, and the toner image is formed on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 222a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
