The present invention relates to a side machining device for a standard metal plate machining device capable of simultaneously performing a side cutting operation and a burr removal operation. The present invention provides the side machining device capable of removing burrs generated in a bottom part when a standard metal plate requiring precise machining with 0.05-0.1 mm of allowable limits of machining error is cut while cutting the standard metal plate. In a cutting device to machine a side surface of a standard steel plate using a cutter (C) rotated by driving force of a driving motor for a cutter, the machining device capable of simultaneously machining a side surface of a standard metal plate and removing burrs therefrom comprises: a base fixed on a side surface of a casing of a driving motor for a cutter; an adjustment part having a fine adjustment part to adjust a fine position of a burr removal part arranged on a top of the base, a tension adjustment part to adjust a tension between a burr driving motor and a power transmission part, and an adjustment base whereon the burr driving motor and the power transmission part are loaded; a driving part for a burr cutter installed on a top of the adjustment part; and the burr removal part comprising the power transmission part and a burr removal cutter. The present invention manufactures products as a finished product which can be intactly shipped without an additional burr removal operation of removing the burrs continuously generated in the bottom of the lowermost machined product at the same time as a side machining operation, thereby reducing operation procedures and fundamentally preventing injuries of workers unexpectedly occurred in the burr removal operation.
