The present invention relates to a stent for expanding blood vessels, which comprises: a first body having a hollow cylindrical shape and formed by connecting multiple columns composed of multiple cells connected to each other; and a second body disposed on one end of the first body and formed by connecting multiple columns composed of multiple cells connected to each other, wherein the second body is configured to have more cells per unit column, compared to the first body. According to the present invention, the stent for expanding blood vessels is configured to have a varying diameter which decreases from the other end of the first body to the end of the second body when the stent for expanding blood vessels is expanded by a balloon within the stent for expanding blood vessels. Accordingly, the stent for expanding blood vessels is installed to correspond to a shape of a blood vessel formed to have diameter which gets narrower in a predetermined direction, thereby reducing damage to blood vessel tissues and recurrence of stenosis on a stenotic lesion, which can be caused in a blood vessel with a narrower diameter than an excessively expanded diameter of a stent, compared to the diameter of the blood vessel.
