PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow heat source of long service life capable of converting electric energy into heat energy at high efficiency. SOLUTION: This hollow heat source includes a heating element, and at least two electrodes connected electrically to the heating element. The heating element has hollow three-dimensional structure including a carbon nanotube structure. At least one of the two electrodes includes a carbon nanotube structure, and the carbon nanotube structure includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes.
