PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct strip unevenness caused by flicker by simple configuration. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a section which detects strip unevenness appearing in an image of processing object in the direction substantially perpendicular to the traveling direction of a shutter film in an image capturing apparatus at image-capturing, a section which calculates the amount of correction of strip unevenness, and a section which corrects strip unevenness in the image based on the amount of correction.
