The objective of the present invention is to provide a current control device with which it is possible to maintain an ON state of a semiconductor switch even if there is a drop in the electric potential at a terminal of the semiconductor switch into which a current is being input. In a current control device 13, current flowing through a current pathway from a battery to a load is controlled by turning a FET 20, provided in the current pathway, on and off. The current is input into the source of the FET 20 and is output from the drain thereof. The FET 20 turns on when the voltage at the gate relative to the electric potential at the source is less than a negative reference voltage. A capacitor C1 is provided between the source and the gate of the FET 20. A diode D1 prevents the reverse flow of current in a current pathway through which current flows from the source of the FET 20 via the capacitor C1. |
