There are provided a connector housing having a simple structure which is capable of suppressing or preventing sharp bending of an optical waveguide and an optical waveguide assembly including the connector housing.;A connector housing (5) has at least one core portion and cladding portions surrounding the core portion.;The connector housing (5) is configured to be mounted to a front end portion (32) of an optical waveguide (3) having a band-like shape as a whole.;The connector housing (5) is a housing including an inner cavity portion (52) penetrating from a front end (506) to a base end (507), and the front end portion (32) of the optical waveguide (3) is configured to be inserted into the inner cavity portion (52).;A distance between walls of the inner cavity portion (52) in the thickness direction of the optical waveguide (3) at the base end opening (521) is gradually increasing toward the base end side.

1. A connector housing, comprising:
a housing including a front end portion, a base end portion having a base end opening, and an inner cavity portion penetrating from the front end portion to the base end portion such that a front end portion of a band shaped optical waveguide is inserted into the inner cavity portion, wherein the housing is formed such that a distance between walls of the inner cavity portion in a thickness direction of the band shaped optical waveguide at the base end opening is gradually increasing toward the base end side.
