PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for crystallizing nickel sulfate capable of preventing the generation of scale.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for obtaining a nickel sulfate crystal by supplying a nickel sulfate solution to a crystallizer 13 and crystallizing the nickel sulfate solution in the crystallizer 13, wherein the nickel concentration in the nickel sulfate solution is set at 90 g/L or more and 185 g/L or less, preferably 121 g/L or more and 140 g/L or less. Since the degree of supersaturation of a slurry in the crystallizer 13 becomes high and nuclei are hardly formed on the inner wall of the crystallizer 13 and the heat transfer surface of a heat exchanger 14 by increasing the nickel concentration in the nickel sulfate solution, the generation of scale can be inhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
