PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing the remarkable deterioration of vehicle height even if a failure occurs in a detecting device during traveling.SOLUTION: A vehicle height adjusting device is equipped with: a front fork and a rear suspension which change a relative position of a vehicle body and an axle of a vehicle; a front wheel side relative position detecting portion and a rear wheel side relative position detecting portion which detect the relative position; and a control device for controlling vehicle height which is the height of the vehicle body by chancing the relative position on the basis of detection values of the front wheel side relative position detecting portion and the rear wheel side relative position detecting portion. The control device keeps the vehicle height when there is a probability of a failure in the front wheel side relative position detecting portion and the rear wheel side relative position detecting portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
