Embodiments of the invention generally relate to requesting scheduling in a communication network. The terminal device may determine a priority of information to be transmitted from the terminal device to a base station of the communication network. The terminal device may transmit a scheduling request to the base station, wherein the scheduling request indicates the determined priority.
