Methods and systems for providing suggestions for physical activities and detailed activity routes in connection with the suggested physical activities. Embodiments of the present invention estimate and suggest, for popular activities such as running and cycling, activity routes that are tailored to to the weight program participant's desired goals. The program participant can then follow the suggested route and thereby reach their desired goal without being concerned about the details of conversions and calculations among miles, calories, points, etc. The route initially suggested can be adapted, e.g., by making it longer or shorter, depending on the difference between the user's desired goals and the user's actual performance. |
