PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new electric power supply device for a motor capable of restricting occurrence of a jump phenomenon of an electric power supply brush by restricting reduction of a contact pressure of a twisting coil spring against the electric power supply brush due to heat and provide an electric variable valve device using this electric power supply device.SOLUTION: An electric variable valve device is constituted in such a way that a low heat conductive member for restricting heat transfer transmitted to a twisting coil spring is arranged at an abutting portion between one end of an elastic arm part of the twisting coil spring and an electrical power supply brush. With this arrangement as above, since it is possible to reduce calorie transmitted from the electrical power supply brush to the twisting coil spring, it is possible to restrict phenomena in which reduction of contact pressure of the twisting coil spring to the electrical power supply brush due to heat is restricted, occurrence of a jump phenomenon of the electrical power supply brush is restricted, and phenomena such as irregular consumption of the electrical power supply brush and increasing in resistance caused by burning at the surface of a slip ring can be restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
