PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of highly accurately performing correction to ease a density change caused by concentration of ink in a nozzle without causing a processing load and an increase in memory size.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes a prediction section 604 for predicting "discharge" or "non-discharge" of ink on the basis of corrected multiple value image data. When the prediction section predicts "discharge", a concentration degree parameter is corrected in a direction for restoring an ink concentration degree referring to a first table and using a subtraction value corresponding to the concentration degree parameter. When the prediction section predicts "non-discharge", the concentration degree parameter is corrected in a direction for increasing the ink concentration degree referring to a second table and using an addition value corresponding to the concentration degree parameter. Each of a memory capacity for storing a correction parameter in the first table and a memory capacity for storing a correction parameter in the second table is optimized to a required minimum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
