The present invention relates to an electrode for a secondary battery, capable of improving productivity and, more specifically, to an electrode for a secondary battery where an electrode mixture layer is applied on one side or both sides of a current collector, and which has one or more linear grooves recessed in the direction of the current collector on an upper side of in the electrode mixture layer, wherein the upper side of the electrode mixture layer faces the contact surface to the current collector.
