The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for providing an advertisement. The method comprises: selecting an advertisement to be provided to a user; providing a game in a manner that an image of the advertisement is disposed step by step by overlaying a cover layer over the image of the selected advertisement and removing the cover layer gradually; and providing a reward to the user when it is determined that the game is completely performed according to the user′s input to the game. According to the present invention as described above, the method and the apparatus may induce users′ interests in an advertisement, and may check whether the users read the advertisement, and may allow the advertisement to be exposed to the users for a period of time or more, thereby increasing an advertising effect. |
