<p>A weir section for use in a sewer pipe structure comprises a pipe section (10) having at least one side weir extending longitudinally of the pipe section. The or each side weir is formed by a free edge (91) of a channel (90) which is attached to an interior surface of the pipe section to extend longitudinally along the pipe section in an upper part of the pipe section, a base of the channel being spaced above a base of the pipe section. There is also described a sewer pipe structure including a weir section, and a method of manufacturing the weir section, preferably employing pipe sections and arcuate sections of pipe. There is further described a method of using the weir section to provide a spill over flow in a sewer pipe structure.</p> |
