<p>The lifter/spreader, especially to widen the cut in a tree trunk when felling timber, has a cylinder (1) and a pneumatic or hydraulic piston (2) with a manual pump (3). The piston carries a lifting plate at the end away from the cylinder. The cylinder is within a shrouding mantle (4), longer than the cylinder. A sleeve (5) is bonded to the lifting plate, extending to the cylinder and around its mantle, to be guided by it.</p> |
