摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor evaluation method and an evaluator for evaluating the state of a measurement electrode of a gas sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A mixed gas comprising carbon monoxide, oxygen, and nitrogen with their flow rates regulated by mass flow controllers 112, 113 and 114, is supplied as a measuring object gas to a pipe 115 of a reactor part 120 having a gas sensor 1. With the flow rate of the carbon monoxide supplied from a carbon monoxide gas cylinder 102 kept constant, the flow rate of oxygen supplied from an oxygen gas cylinder 103 is adjusted while adjusting the amount of nitrogen supplied from a nitrogen gas cylinder 104 according to the amount of carbon monoxide, thereby keeping constant the total flow rate of the mixed gas supplied from a gas supply part 110 to the pipe 115. An output value of the gas sensor 1 in such an atmosphere is measured to evaluate the state of the measurement electrode of the gas sensor 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
