PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which suppresses peeling of resin particles of an insulating layer laminated on an electrode active material layer.SOLUTION: A secondary battery 100 includes: a positive electrode collector 221; and a positive electrode active material layer 223 which is applied on the positive electrode collector 221 and contains at least a positive electrode active material. Furthermore, a lithium ion secondary battery 100 includes: a negative electrode collector 241 arranged so as to face the positive electrode collector 221; and a negative electrode active material layer 243 which is applied on the negative electrode collector 241 and contains at least a negative electrode active material. In addition, the lithium ion secondary battery 100 has a porous insulating layer 245 on which resin particles having insulating properties are laminated formed thereon so as to cover at least one of the positive electrode active material layer 223 and the negative electrode active material layer 243 (here, negative electrode active material layer 243). Furthermore, the lithium ion secondary battery 100 includes a melting portion 246 in which the resin particles are melted on the edge of the insulating layer 245.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
