PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of shortening a required time up to a dubbing end without affecting a reservation video recording operation by performing dubbing processing in a free time when reservation video recording is not performed. SOLUTION: A reservation video recording information acquiring part 13 acquires a reservation start time and a reservation end time in respective pieces of currently registered reservation information and calculates a time between respective reservation video recording (calculates a free time from one reservation video recording end to the next reservation video recording start). Then, a dubbing division determining processing part 15 generates a time schedule for dubbing processing time division when a dubbing division determining part 14 determines that time division for dubbing processing is necessary on the basis of the dubbing start time, a time required for dubbing and the time between the respective reservation video recording. A dubbing processing part 16 performs the time division of dubbing processing from a storage to a disk to execute dubbing processing according to the generated time schedule.
