A glass ribbon has a thickness of 100 µm or less and comprises a convex curved surface portion on a side surface. The glass ribbon can be produced by heating a preform glass material having a thickness of 2 mm or less, and subj ecting the preform glass material to drawing so that the preform glass material has a thickness of 100 µm or less. |
