OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE AND OPTICAL DISK DRIVE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device suitable for an optical disk drive capable of recording an image by a laser beam to an image recording layer disposed on a label face. SOLUTION: An objective lens L which is displaceably supported is built into a signal recording and reproducing position where the laser beam radiated from a laser diode 6 is focused to a signal recording layer and an image recording operation position where the laser beam is focused to the image recording layer of the optical disk D placed front side rear, and a tracking coil 9 for displacing the objective lens L to a radial direction is provided. The DC driving sensitivity of the tracking coil 9 is measured during the manufacture of a non-volatile memory 19 in which the data on the measured sensitivity is stored is included into the optical pickup device.
