PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log transfer device preventing waste of resources and efficiently transferring log information to be transferred to an external device, a log transfer program, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: A log transfer device for transferring log information to an external device 209 connected via a network includes a storage means 213 for storing the log information generated; a log control means 205 that, if the log information is not to be generated due to transfer to the external device, sends a log change report; and a log transfer means 207 that, on receipt of the log change report, reads out the log information from the storage means 213 and transfers the read log information to the external device 209.
