PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity of generating a voltage higher than an active level of a scanning line when a scanning line is driven by using a demultiplexer system. SOLUTION: Each scanning line 112 is provided with a unit circuit 40 including TFTs 42, 44. An address signal Ad-m, a select signal Sel-n and a clock signal Clk are supplied to a unit circuit 40 corresponding to a ä3(m-1)+n}th line. The source electrode of the TFT 42 is connected to an input terminal In where the address signal Ad-m is supplied; and the drain electrode of the TFT is connected to an output terminal Out that is one end of the ä3(m-1)+n}th scanning line 112. The clock signal Clk is supplied to the gate electrode of the TFT 44; the select signal Sel-n is supplied to the source electrode of the TFT; and the drain electrode is connected to the gate electrode of the TFT 42.
