ANTICOUNTERFEIT MEDIUM, ANTICOUNTERFEIT SHEET, AND PATTERN FORMING METHOD OF FERROMAGNETIC MATERIAL LAYER OF ANTICOUNTERFEIT MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticounterfeit medium and an anticounterfeit sheet that make manufacturing of a forged article difficult and that facilitate efficient distinction of authenticity, and also to provide a pattern forming method of a ferromagnetic material layer of the anticounterfeit medium.

SOLUTION: The anticounterfeit medium (20) includes: a base material (21); a volume hologram layer (22) which is provided on one side of the base material (21) and which records, in the layer thickness direction, interference fringes caused by interference of light as fringes of different refractive index; and a ferromagnetic material layer (23) which is provided on the side opposite from the base material (21) of the volume hologram layer (23) and which is formed in a pattern using a ferromagnetic material.
