<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method for correcting luminance unevenness and color unevenness in a display device, and a display device for implementing the display method. <P>SOLUTION: An LUT (look up table) 14 where input grayscale and output grayscale following a characteristic in which a grayscale characteristic in a display section 16 is expressed in a high order function are stored, is provided to the post stage of an unevenness correction section 13 for correcting a grayscale value for each color component of an image signal and to the preceding stage of a display section 16. Thereby, the grayscale characteristic at the post stage of the unevenness correction section 13 becomes a linear one which absorbs variance of the grayscale characteristic in the display section 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
