BASEBAND RESOURCES POOL MANAGEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GSM SYSTEM

A baseband resources pool management method and system for GSM system. It dynamically allocates baseband resources according to the user callings, that is, only a BCCH baseband resource is allocated to a cell in advance, then the baseband resources are dynamically allocated one by one in units of carrier frequency with the initiation of callings and the gradual increasement of traffic in the cell and baseband resources are released one by one in units of carrier frequency with the gradual decreasement of traffic in the cell. To avoid the case of the fast increasement of signaling flow that initially allocated dynamically caused by high traffic, the baseband resources can be allocated according to the average telephone traffic in advance. It combines the benefits of the static allocation and the dynamic allocation that both forming the mutual backup of GBP singleboard and improving the calamity-tolerance capability.
