<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp for an automobile so improved as to enable an arc tube of the discharge lamp called a burner to be simply and accurately fixed to a base main body called a flange. <P>SOLUTION: By mounting a ring body having elasticity on an end part (a formed groove) of an arc tube of the discharge lamp to be inserted into an opening of the base main body, and pressing the ring body with a lid body onto a tapered part or a circular stepped part formed at an inner periphery wall of the opening of the base main body, the end part of the arc tube is pressed with the ring body from a whole periphery to fasten the arc tube at a given position of the base main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
