PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a total inspection time becomes long because an inspection time per nozzle (inspection period) should be taken long to some extent by an effect of ink mist caused by physical characteristics of ink and effects of a variation in the flying speed of ink droplets or fluctuation while calculating in advance a time of the flying speed in the ejection state inspection of an inkjet head. SOLUTION: Ejection state inspection is carried out on trial at partial nozzles, and the inspection period per nozzle is determined from the result.
