<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to easily and precisely separate a dotted portion from a line drawing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A line drawing processor 100 sequentially determines the curvature value of pixels constituting an outline portion along the outline portion of a drawing region DR and quantifies the degree of bending of each pixel position at the outline portion. The line drawing processor 100 detects the pixels bending in the direction to extend the drawing region DR (inflection point P) based on the comparison with a predetermined reference value and separates a projecting region ER projected from the drawing line DL from the drawing region DR by connecting the inflection points P in a predetermined positional relation by a separation line L.
