<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pack type valve which can be improved in operability, and elongated in the service life of a part by smoothing handle operation by preventing a gall of a screw for making a valve body screwed with a drain cock. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This pack type valve has the hollow valve body 10, a gland nut 40 for sealing a hollow part by being screwed with one end opening of the valve body 10, the drain cock 51 forming a closed valve chest 16 by being screwed to a hollow inner wall in the valve body 10 and having a valve element 51 for opening and closing an inflow passage 14 of gas at one end, a freely rotatable spindle 20 having one end stored in the hollow part of the valve body 10 and having the other end penetrates the gland nut 40, and a handle 30 installed at the other end of the spindle 20, and is constituted by arranging rotation transmitting means 21, 60 (61, 62) and 52 capable of transmitting the rotation of the spindle 20 to the drain cock 50 while absorbing the displacement of both rotary shafts S between the spindle 20 and the drain cock 50.
