The invention relates to a device (10) for conveying viscous material, in particular viscous adhesive or sealing substances, having a material chamber (12) which has a material inlet (14) and a material outlet (16), having a conveying piston (18) which is movable in reciprocating fashion in the material chamber (12) and which serves for conveying the material out of the material chamber (12) through the material outlet (16) during a forward stroke, having a drive cylinder (20) in which a drive piston (22) which exerts a force on the conveying piston (18) during the forward stroke is movable in reciprocating fashion, and having a pressure system (30) for introducing a pressure medium into a pressure chamber (26) of the drive cylinder (20) for the purposes of exerting pressure on the drive piston (22) during the forward stroke, which pressure system has a pump (30) and a pressure line (36, 38) which leads from the pump (34) to the pressure chamber (26). It is provided according to the invention that the pressure line (36, 38) has a length of at most 2 metres, preferably of at most one metre, and more preferably of at most one half of a metre. |
