PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer composition having an excellent mechanical property. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is produced by combining to at least one sort of a 100 pts.wt. rubber component selected from a natural rubber and a diene-based rubber, (1) carbon black and/or silica and (2) a modified calcium carbonate having (i) a silica layer, (ii) an organic acid layer prepared by a treatment using at least one sort of agent selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid, fatty acid salt, fatty acid ester, resin acid, resinate and resin acid ester and (iii) a silane coupling agent layer.
