PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail mounting structure with improvement of vibration resistance and impact resistance by locking and supporting a main body case of an electronic equipment without looseness through compensation of dimensional tolerance of a rail and deviation of plate thicknesses. SOLUTION: In the rail mounting structure locking and supporting a case 2 of an equipment astride a top hat type rail 5, engagement protrusions 6 to be hooked to side edges 5a, 5b of the rail from front and back pinching the rail 5 and a slider 7 biased by a spring 8 are provided at a bottom part of the case, and, also at the bottom part of the case, looseness-preventing spring members 10 with a downward protrusion 12a formed at a wire-processed spring are arranged at either side of the slider 7 as looseness-preventing means pressing an engagement claw 7a to a side edge 5b of the rail by adding a spring load in a plate thickness direction on the side edge of the rail to have both-end leg parts of the spring engaged with right and left side edges of the bottom part of the case.
