PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a volume constant without any dependence on a recording medium or a genre. SOLUTION: The audio device is provided with a volume setting means for setting the reproduction volume of an audio signal to a desired level, and a volume control means for controlling the audio signal so as to always set the reproduction volume level of the audio signal within a predetermined range where the volume level set by the volume setting means is a reference.
