A permissible axile weight sensing system is provided to calculate weight applied to a rear axle after detecting displacement of rear wheels or displacement of a vehicle body caused by connection of a trailer and to determine whether axile weight is included within a legal permissible range. A permissible axile weight sensing system comprises a load detecting device(100), a road gradient detector(200), a control unit(300), and a displaying unit(400). The load detecting unit detects load exerted to rear wheels when a user connects a trailer to a link attached at the back of a vehicle. The road gradient detector senses flatness of roads on which the vehicle travels with a gravity sensor. The control unit calculates PAW(Permissible Axle Weight) and T/LOAD(Tongue Load) of the rear wheels based on the data calculated by the load detecting device and the road gradient detector. The displaying unit informs the user of a legal permissible range according to a signal output by the control unit.
