<p>The method involves automatically modeling counter pressure inside a cylinder (1) of a combustion engine e.g. petrol engine, in real time, based on drive parameters of the engine that includes a dwell angle and an exhaust valve (AV). The modeling of counter pressure includes an interpolation of characteristic zone of counter pressure over a crank shaft angle. Injection amount of an injection valve (12) in the engine depends on the counter pressure. The injection valve is provided for fuel injection in a combustion chamber (2) of the cylinder. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device, in particular control device or combustion engine, which is provided for executing a method for operating a combustion engine (2) a computer program with a program code for executing a method for operating a combustion engine.</p> |
