The invention relates to a device and a method for levelling dry bulk material on a base by means of a long scraper element (14). The device comprises a support device (6, 8), which supports the scraper element and is designed to mount the scraper element such as to be freely displaced in a horizontal plane in which the scraper element runs and to retain the scraper element in said plane. As an alternative to a mounting on a support arm for example, the scraper element can be maintained horizontal and at a constant height by means of an electronic reference plane, generated by means of a mechanically separate transmitter unit. |
