<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver recorder capable of reproducing video information recorded in a recording element. <P>SOLUTION: This drive recorder (2) is provided with: a first detecting unit (27) for detecting that the recording element (6) has been inserted into the drive recorder; a second detecting unit (11) for detecting whether or not the recording element is in a write inhibition state; and a control unit (24) for, when it is detected by the first detecting unit that the recording element has been inserted into the drive recorder, and it is detected by the second detecting unit that the recording element is in the write inhibition state, making a control to cause the drive recorder to operate in a reproduction mode for reproducing video information recorded in the recording element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
