<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low-cost electronic control device in which lead insertion type components, such as, a capacitor and a coil used for a step-up circuit are build, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic control device having two or more kinds of lead insertion type components, each comprising at least a capacitor and a coil, the component is attached to a support having wirings, a terminal structure, and a mechanical fixation portion. The lead for the component is electrically connected, in a state in which the lead is inserted into a hole provided in the wiring portion of the support. The component and the support are fixed by use of a fixing adhesive. The upper surface of the component comes into contact with a metal housing via a heat conductive material, having a low elastic modulus. The mechanical fixing portion of the support is fixed onto the metal housing; and the terminal structure of the support is electrically connected to a wiring substrate on which at least a control element is mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
