<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch sensor device and a touch operation detection method for preventing any erroneous determination even under the influence of a noise due to radio wave failure or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The touch sensor device 1 is configured of: a controller 2 for determining presence/absence of a touch operation; a capacitive IC 3; and a touch electrode group 5 configured of a plurality of touch electrodes 50. When an output signal which exceeds a prescribed threshold is input in an electrode OFF period, the controller 2 determines the input as erroneous determination, and abandons all the determination results of this period.
