A plurality of core grooves (2, 52) are provided on the outer peripheral side of a rotor core (1, 51), the core grooves (2, 52) extending in the direction of a rotor shaft (8). A rotor conductor (5) is a rod-shaped conductor inserted in the grooves (2, 52). A flared section (4) is formed on the outer peripheral side of the rotor conductor (5), the flared section (4) flaring in the groove width direction after the rotor conductor (5) has been inserted in the grooves (2, 52). The rotor conductor (5) is secured in the grooves (2, 52) by the bracing force generated between the flared section (4) and both side wall surfaces of the grooves (2, 52). Sunken and raised profiles are provided along the direction of the rotor shaft (8) on the inner walls on the outer peripheral side of the grooves (2, 52) that make contact with the flared section (4). |
