This cooling system is provided with: a cooling device; and an electronic control device that controls the cooling device. The cooling device has: a rotating body that feeds out a cooling medium; and a drive source that controls the rotating body. The electronic control device stores diagnostic criteria information indicating the tolerance in actual rotational frequency when the actual rotational frequency of the drive source has deviated from the instructed rotational frequency. The tolerance changes in accordance with the instructed rotational frequency and the value of the voltage imposed on the drive source. The electronic control device determines the tolerance on the basis of the diagnostic criteria information and determines whether or not the cooling device is in a normal state.
