A method and device for improving a cavity isolation effect. The method comprises: by detecting the intensity of signals transmitted by components of a radio frequency power amplifier corresponding to each shielded cavity in a radio frequency power amplifier cover plate, determining neighbouring cavities with poor signal intensity in the radio frequency power amplifier cover plate; treating isolating strips between the neighbouring cavities with poor signal intensity by dispensing adhesive; and by fastening the PCB board of the radio frequency power amplifier onto the radio frequency power amplifier cover plate, making conductive adhesive on the isolating strips treated by dispensing adhesive fill up gaps between the isolating strips and the PCB board.
